Ingredients for Making Berry Smoothie

Making a berry smoothie:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


Peel the banana, in this cocktail we don’t need the whole fruit, it should be there only nominally. Therefore, cut the peeled banana into two halves, if desired, one half can be eaten right there, and the rest can be added to the cocktail.

Sort the fresh raspberries. Choose berries without dark spots, ripe and without traces of mold. Now rinse the selected raspberries and dry.

Sort blueberries and rinse. With this berry, be especially careful not to crush.

Remove the ponytails from the strawberries, put them in a colander and rinse them well. For convenience, you can cut the berries into several parts, so it will be easier to place them in the blender bowl and they will take up less space, freeing it for other ingredients.

Step 2: make a berry smoothie.


Now put all the berries in a blender bowl, sprinkle them with sugar on top and pour in drinking yogurt. Important: if your chosen yogurt contains sugar, you don’t need to further sweeten the berry smoothie. The last step is to add ice.
Beat all the ingredients in the appliance at maximum power for about a minute or a little less. After that, everything will be ready and you can safely proceed to serving a drink of fresh berries on the table.

Step 3: serve the berry smoothie.


Serve the berry smoothie immediately after cooking. This drink combines the beneficial properties of raspberries, strawberries and blueberries, because the berries are used fresh and are not subjected to any heat treatment. So enjoy your healthy and delicious breakfast with pleasure.

Recipe Tips:

- Berry smoothies go well with green tea, so if you do not want to use yogurt for some reason, just replace it with tea.

- You can use both fresh and frozen berries, but then you do not need to add additional ice.
